2011 Chinese New Year Dinner: 12 February

Mark your calendars!

The annual NYSA Chinese New Year celebration will be held on 12 February (details below) this year. This event is organized to connect New York-based Singaporeans / those with any interest in Singapore, and usher in the New Year. The event will feature activities such as a speech by Ambassador Menon, Singapore’s Permanent Representative to the UN,  “lau yu sheng”, a lion dance, table games, and a pre-event drinks mixer with free flow Tiger beers while they last.

Lucky draw prizes include a HDTV and a Wii!

This year, we are also including Singaporean students from NYU and Columbia to usher in the Year of the Rabbit. Feel free to invite your friends and family for the fun and food (typically a 10-course meal, mmm).
